Parking Lot Fund

Donations to our Parking Lot Fund last week were $200.00 and that brings our current total to $47,300.68.   The estimated cost to replace the parking lot is around $93,000.00.  You can designate your financial gift by writing Parking Lot Fund on the Special line on the church envelope or by selecting Parking Lot Fund on tithely.com.      

As we continue our giving to the Parking Lot Fund, keep in mind that our donations need to be in addition to the regular giving of our tithes to support our ministry in Austin and our financial gifts that go toward missions in other parts of the world. 

Communion Sunday

Believers have been observing Communion for almost two thousand years.  In doing so, they have honoring Jesus and following His instructions about how to commemorate His death on the cross for our sins. 

It’s important to remember that taking Communion doesn’t make a person a Christian.  In fact, a person should know that he or she has a personal relationship with Jesus before taking Communion.  Please let Pastor Gene know if you have questions about what it means to be a Christian or if you have other questions about Communion.

Sunday School/Life Groups

Participating in a Sunday School class or a Life Group is a great way to find personal enrichment, grow a vibrant faith, and develop relationships that will last forever.  There are currently four groups that are meeting each Sunday from 10:00-10:45 a.m.  Let us know if you have questions. 

Bible Explorers – (Elementary and younger – inside classroom area)

Bible Journeys – (Middle School/Youth – portable building classroom)

Discovery Class – (Adults – inside classroom area)

Cornerstone Class – (Adults – Sanctuary)
