Communion Sunday

We will be observing Communion next weekend in our Sunday worship service.  In doing so, we will be following the instructions Jesus gave us about how to commemorate His death on the cross for our sins.

Taking Communion doesn’t make a person a Christian.  In fact, a person should know that he or she has a personal relationship with Jesus before taking Communion.  Please let Pastor Gene know if you have questions about what it means to be a Christian or if you have other questions about Communion.

Ladies Bible Study

Candace Cawood will be facilitating a 6-week Bible Study beginning on Saturday, January 15.  The theme is Forgiving What You Can’t Forget.  Each session will include a short video presentation by Lysa TerKeurst, Scripture reading, and group discussion.

These Bible studies will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last until noon.  The study book is $8.00 per person.  Use the signup sheet on the bulletin board in the hallway to request your book and reserve your spot.

2022 Church Directory

We will begin collecting information for our 2022 Church Directory next Sunday.  Members and Friends are encouraged to provide the contact information you are willing to share with others in our congregation.  There are two ways you can assist us with this project

  • Use the Connection Card in the Sunday Bulletin to confirm your information if it is unchanged from last year.
  • Fill out the Church Directory Insert in the Sunday Bulletin and place it in the offering plate at the end of the service.
